This does pop into spherical mushroom popcorn but there are some tricks

If you pop it in a paper bag in the microwave dont expect mushroomsif you have too little oil or not enough heat it will butterfly

I use an oil spatter screen on the top of the pan to vent steam and it has knocked it off

The kernels to have a lot of hulls so be aware of that when using it for recipes but this type of popcorn is known for that so its not the fault of the producer

You can air pop it or use a popcorn pot with the handle that turns while the popcorn is popping
