Pros

This replacement part fit my hoover decade 80 perfectly, as advertised. The vacuum is old, belonging to my mom. It's difficult finding them as my vacuum cleaner is 25 years old.

Cons

These belts work when installed, but they do not have the hoover sku molded in and the ones i received did not last very long. My thinking is this may not be the seller's fault entirely, after all the seller did not make the belts.

Every time a belt passes around a pulley, it bends and flexes which produces heat that hardens the rubber. The friction heat and the vibration of the machine are unkind to rubber belts.
