This handheld vacuum is the best i have ever tried or had. Pliable and just the right size for the old twist n vac. When you twist the nozzle it's in the position that you would not normally be using the vac they call it the vertical position.

I think around the pulley it could stop with the belt from turning correctly, heat up & stretch the belt.
The mystery i thought had something to do with the position of the belt.

Came right away and fit perfect also the price was great.
I was so glad to find it on amazon and if i ordered 2 for a very low price i got free shipping from this company.

And yes i found that i was inserting the new belt the wrong way

You have to twist the nozzle beater bar in the position that when the belt is put on it goes on straight

Its across from where screws will go in later its in the middle of the inside of the nozzle

On my twist vac the belt ends up being on the agitator centered on the small raised area lines up with that tab

If this is not done correctly the belt will move
