I am incredibly pleased with my purchase (got one used from amazon for $196) and it will be replacing my 15+ year old hoover spinscrub. Our carpet is ~2 yrs new. Assembly is easy, and i love that there’s no mixing involved.
Washes the carpet and has terrific suction to soak up up excess water. I appreciate the heater portion that helps to dry my carpets after they have been cleaned. It is so satisfying to see the dirty water being * up from the carpet.
Cleaning the machining is very simple. It cleans really well.

Cons
Only a refund and then reorder. Amazon's receipt we all print off is invalid.
It's astonishing how they can blatantly show such negligence. It's as if they have perfected the art of ignoring disgruntled customers. The whole process of dealing with amazon customer service is downright nauseating.

I got it while it was on sale and man, even at full price, it is 100% worth the money!
I saw this carpet cleaner on sale and was like, bet, getting this after reading the reviews and i’m not disappointed at all!

First off for anyone who has had a more traditional carpet cleaner its going to seem weird as the hoover smartwash pet is an automatic unit

There is no trigger pulling to dispense cleaning solution — just fill the solution feeder with the carpet cleaning solution of your choice fill the clean water tank with hot water and then turn it on and go

As you go forward water and solution are automatically mixed and sprayed onto the carpet

If you want more solution mix on an area simply running it slowly forward and quickly back and forth a few times will do it so you can still apply more liquid as needed
