Pros
New vacuums are pricey so i thought it was worth trying to replace the hose. This hose is very stretchy and flexible. It fits on my old upright vacuum perfect and the vacuum became quieter and more powerful ever.
The original hose became'mangled' early on. This replacement fits better than the too-long original hose. Perfect replacement for a torn hose.
The original hose was light-weight, accordion-pleated plastic. This is actually better than the original as it is thicker and stronger in materials. Much higher quality then the orginal.
It is both sturdier and stretchier. It is durable and works well.

Competitiveness
I have had my hoover windtunnel for 15+ years and it works better than any other vacuum ive tried.
This windtunnel hose is better than the original.
Just a shame that you need to spend that much extra to correct the weak hose on the hoover windtunnel vac.
Had an old hoover windtunnel upright that needed a new hose.
