Quality
I was very surprised with the quality.
I was so impressed with the first i bought a second hori fighting commander 4.
This is the second fighting commander i've bought, the first one was the older model with the dpad that you could rotate.
I went from using a ps4 controller to this and the dpad feels great and the 6 button face only took a little while to get used to.
Price
Overall a very good controller and well worth the price.

Packaging/appearance
I love that the edges of the d-pad are rounded.
Easy to perform quarter-circles, half-circles and dragon-punch motions on the dpad.
Competitiveness
This controller will not switch you from a analog or joystick player to a dpad player.
Compared to madcatz these controllers won’t break easily.
Much better than a playstation d-pad, and even a bit better than a nintendo d-pad.

It loosens up after a while but input registration is not affected remains consistent

Perhaps the hori fighting commander 4 would not have had this issue do to the longer grip on the left side

We feel the long experience of hori if you want a cheap controller with hig level control this controller is for you

The turbo button doesnt seem to work which is fine because i dont play games that require a turbo mode but it broke early on

A weird issue i have with it is when i release x the game registers it as an input instead of a release

My hands have adjusted to this over time but it was the bumpiest thing about transitioning to this controller next to having to reprogram the shoulder buttons so i could use r3 and l3

I wish i could program the r1 r2 face buttons to be l3 and r3 instead

I had to set the shoulder buttons to the r3 l3 l1 l2 and then map r1 and r2 to the inputs i previously mapped onto l3 and r3 on the original ps4 controller
