Pros

I play fgs at a competitive level and have bought about six other controllers while using this one, searching for something better, but it doesn't exist.

The d-pad looks clunky, but it's not. It registers the inputs very well and so does the * fighting commander. Despite some saying it felt spongy, it works very well.

The face * are sized well. The fave * are great. Only complaint i have is in training mode on xb1 i restart by hitting select+a.

The pad is fine, but (not sure if it is my unit), it may get clumsy for non-charge characters. Would recommend and would purchase again.

All cardinal and diagonals appear in input history on fighters. Works with street fighter v like a dream.

Cons

It feels like a planned obsolescence product. The controllers that come bundled with the snes classic are a much better option. Save your money for something better.

The controller and * feel comfortable but the dpad will defintely go out first. The d pad is horrendous. Overall this pad is not worth the money.

This is a big issue, because in online matches the opponent doesnt know this and beats the * outa you while you're stuck reaching for the usb plugging it in. Also connectivity comes and goes at will.

Off course it’s mostly my fault, but most of the described won’t fail with the ps4 controller.

I rarely get mis-inputs with the dpad.

To answer my own question, this controller works great with my ps5.

I do well on a ps4 controller, but not even close to the first one.

Aside from that consideration, this is a well-made controller.
