Charging stand plugs into the back of the switch. My wife's switch lives in docked mode, and it's place inside the tv cabinet makes sliding joycons on and off a bit of a pain.
Cons
There is only one grip with the charging dock. It rarely charges the controllers and when it does- it is only 1 at a time. Made in china. Replace it https://www.

I definitely recommend this product for all of your nintendo switch joy-con charging requirements.
Recommended for nintendo switch owners with more than one pair of joycons.
Cons: needs to be plugged into a wall outlet for optimal performance, and won't charge any of my 'generic - off brand' joycons.
So if you want to keep the party going and avoid any gaming-related rage, i highly recommend picking up a joy-con charge stand.

Product came in faulty one of the docks don’t charge but there was no hassle or heart ache on the return and got full refund it’s ok and these things happen products can be faulty every once in a while no big deal seller was great and understanding and gave me a full refund and i got to keep the product at the day great customer service

No it does not have a lockdown mechanism to keep the joycons in place but this charging stand should be in the same place the entire time anyway since all these things are doing is sitting and charging

The only thing that i do not like is while the end does end with a usb so you can plug it in anywhere the cord is very short at 22 inches aka 1

I’m sure i could have gotten one for cheaper but felt that since my kids would be using it and kids are kids it was better to get one that one name brand in the hopes that it would last longer
