Pros & Cons
Pros
First and foremost, the size of the controllers is perfect for my hands. The assignable trigger * are not possible on standard licensed joycons, but they’re a welcome feature on the * joycons. It's worth noting that other ergonomic joycons are on the ... Read More
The tactile feedback of the * is great. Button inputs and the control sticks are crisp.
The key contributors to my selection and satisfaction :1. It works perfectly, the colors are pleasing, and the price is reasonable. Trusted, tried and true company.
Cons
For $42 you get a very cheap quality build feels flimsy light no weight to it. Of course the * warranty is only 90 days. Spend the bucks and buy the real thing for $30 more. For 50 bucks, that's all you get.
The grip and size is nice, but they are too expensive for what you get. These are just made too small to fit snuggly, mainly the left one. All the replaceable stick caps are meh, and they come off too easily.
Highlights
Quality
Great grip feel for long lasting mobile play.
The buttons, triggers, and thumb sticks are all really solid and feel great in the hands.
First up on the docket is that these will drain your battery fast.
My biggest complaint is that my left stick is drifting after less than one month.
Price
If you're on a budget these will do.
The saving grace with these is that they are cheap.
Competitiveness
I super recommend these over all other portable nintendo switch controllers!
They fit perfectly on the sides and keep the profile relatively slim comparatively to other portable switch controllers.
It's worth noting that other ergonomic joycons are on the market now and they are all full featured and function like standard joycons.
