The dpad breaks like clockwork. It pushes the dpad too far to the edge, and makes it harder to use.

It feels hollow and fragile. It's also not a very smooth pad so my thumb actually got pretty callused. Comparatively the octa is a horrible horrible pad.

Regardless of what people may say about the d-pad not being good, to me it feels great and of high quality.
The pad feels comfortable holding onto it for lengthy periods of time.

The analog stick on this controller is significantly better than a standard controllers for fighting games.
The main alternative people go with is the victrix, but that's roughly $300 more.
It would be cool if hori offered different dpad options.

Dpad works fine but if you’re playing a fighting game there’s no substitute for the sony style dpad
