Pros

The seating die is the best standard seater i have ever used. The seater sleeve works flawlessly but you still have to place the projectile in the case mouth as straight as you can before seating! Great for producing hunting ammunition.

Cons

The fl sizing die is complicated and easy to bend/break. The seating die is waaaayyyyyy too small for lc brass. They look good, but are full of frustration and disappointment.

Save yourselves and your wallets by getting a different set, this one is not it. Come on now hornady, it probably costs you pennies to produce. Rcbs or nothing from here on out.

The * for the die is to tight compared to the lee dies, that's why the cases continually get stuck. You can't back out the neck expander rod using the nut as purchase against the die.

Seems like the whole zip spindle assembly is made out of very malleable (soft) metal. Since the threads are shallow, i have to tighten the nut with a wrench or it slips. This makes it slower than conventionally threaded rod.

This product works good as is but i love that i can quickly install a hornady micrometer stem which allows for easy adjustments.

I stay with horandy equipment and bullets because i know it will produce a safe and accurate product.

Hornady makes quality dies and has a program to get 100 bullets for reloading.

Delivered before the scheduled delivery date and the price was good as well .

I would recommend this and other hornady products to others as they are well built and have a great price.

I find i like hornady dies over rcbs.
