It is a great book to read to a 3+ child and make fun of the silly rhyming words that help to keep the child's interest. Horton hears a who teaches us the power of our voice, in speaking up for ourselves as well as for others.
Love this classic story by dr. Stop the war. Continuing a family tradition of the wonderful dr. Wonderful. This is a great story it has a deep meaning and it’s beautiful, attractive fun.
Good size and price. No damage done during shipment. Gave it as a gift to my new born nephew. It came in excellent condition and much like myself and her two older siblings, she loves the story.
Cons
The book is one of our favorites, but came damaged. There is a 65th anniversary sticker on the front that is scratched, battered, and torn. What a wasted money.

This is a violent book that includes themes of destruction imprisonment and threats of death but horton himself is a purely nonviolent hero

It is approximately 8 12 x 11 inches a little larger than the 5 x 7 size normally found and is hard covered
