I like that this hot knife can cut a variety of materials for crafting. Heats up quickly and makes a clean cut. If you need something to heat cut rope or braid from time to time, this is well worth the $$.

Not only are the rods too close together, they are too large of a diameter to fit into the gun. I have several soldering guns and the cutter didn't fit in any of them.
