The trap only gets about 5 teeny, weeny ant steps and down they go. No ants have been killed. Go with another option.

Although there seems to be a never ending amount of ant colonies in this county where the lake is only a few city blocks away and a large digger pine was cut down near the corner of my house so there were streams after streams of colonies trying to make my house their new home

The ants go in one of like 4 or 5 holes grab the foodpoison and takes it back to the nest to kill off the entire colony
