He was really impressed with the level of detail in each car.
Hot wheels has made a really good quality of cars in this set.
For a few years the quality went down significantly and the cars were cheaply made and would break apart and the detailing was minimal.
Only a red line club version could out do the top quality of this r34.
Price
Depending on your purpose, these can be a good buy, but my kids are rough and are better suited for more price conscious hot wheels.

I didn’t realize they were based off of the fast & furious movie!
Even if you are not a fan of the fast and furious movies these cars are great.
What was really nice about this set is i received it in the thick cardboard factory shipping box, the set box was in perfect condition.
Packaging/appearance
They looked lovely in their packaging and the box it comes in is great for giving to someone as a gift.
I don't see any difference between the cars or packaging within this set from those available separately so no need to buy them both ways.

As for kids that are going to put these in their toy bin like mine are there is no real point to spending five dollars a car when you can get hot wheels for less than one dollar a piece here on amazon from time to time

Next you should see on the actual fast imports or fast rewind it should have the corresponding number on it grb01 on the back of the box and grb02 on the back of the box

Next you should confirm that the physical box has two sticker seals they wont say mattel on them but they should be square

My rule of thumb is if it didnt come in a brown hot wheels cardboard box to contain the actual hot wheels box itself you most likely getting a used item that is just my opinion
