Pros
The cars are available from hot wheels separately and carded. My nephew loves all hot wheels, but it seems like he has every set the box stores offer. The wheels are a major upgrade from the plastic wheels on regular castings.
Colorful, metallic replicas. This is a very nice set even if you are not into forza, or video games in general.
These are pricy for 5 cars but again they are something different. This is a more deluxe set and the price shows it.
The cars in this set can actually drifters. Even the description on mattel's own storefront says these have real riders.
It comes well packaged in a themed box. I like the crate it comes with.
Cons

For $20 or so, for 5 cars, it's a reasonable value over single deluxe hot wheels cars which run around $6.
However they do cost quite a bit more as well though.
Packaging/appearance
Pretty cool packaging for these 5 hot wheels.
This set is so cute- and great for gifting.
The original packaging is pretty cool because it looks like a cargo container.
It may have been an isolated instance- but the collectible container (which is soooo cute) the cars came in would not open easily.
Competitiveness

These are low premium quality, similar to the '24 hot wagons or porsche set.
The paint and decals are a higher quality than the $1 (ish) basic line hot wheels.

Even the box is fun although im not sure if youre supposed to keep them in it or display and store them elsewhere

If i had one issue with the set is that its mildly difficult to remove the plastic insert from the box

For the price of what the cars would run separately or even less you get the vehicles and the cargo container which can be used for either storage or as a display piece
