The case material seems like it would protect the phone from a drop but the edges are only a millimetre or so higher than the screen

The corners however are about twice as high as the edges

On just about every other case i looked at the corner housing the stylus had a shortened thinner edge to allow you to access the stylus

The ring stand is plastic with a faux chrome finish

After 2 weeks of carrying it in my front pocket the only signs of wear are a few tiny scratches on the faux chrome
