Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Table vise can be positioned in any direction. Great for on the go.

Comes with 2 sets of rubber pads for the table clamp and jaws. The vice is very solid, the jaw slide action and rotation is smooth - better than i thought for the price. Jaws are crisp and square and motion is smooth.

Light gun smithing, crafts, smaller projects. Minor inconvenience. Fantastic little vice for small diy projects.

Easy to clamp on to a field work table. Quick release works well for rotating (swiveling) to desired position.

It is sturdy for its size. Great for hobby type work, hold a smaller piece of wood for drilling, etc.

Cons

The clamping mechanism of the vise is terrible, and partially sits off the edge of the table. The vise itself is also not durable, and broke after only a week of use. The locking gear slips constantly and weakens its hold after it slips.

Price

Got the job done for a low price no complaints!

All in all, this was a pretty cheap solution to my problem and i feel one should expect all of the above for this price.

Would be a good value even at a higher price

But for the price, would definitely buy again.

Packaging/appearance

(it was heavy)when i opened the box i seen that the vice and clamp were cast iron.

They were also full of grease right out of the box and had to be cleaned off.

Competitiveness

The jaws matched better than most vise's i've owned or worked with.
