I thought the most interesting illustrations certainly the biggest ones covering two pages are included in the psychology in the real world section

I do own the dk the psychology book which is different again containing more information on key thinkers such as autobiographical material on b f skinner

Then a wide range of psychological disorders are explained with a single or double page for each so an overview rather than an in depth analysis with a little text box listing treatments for the conditions and with colourful diagrams and charts which break up the text without being too distracting

The cover says the subject is visually explained and the graphics probably take up maybe a bit less than half of each spread

They are relatively straight forward with the same style in all the other dk books in the series simple flat colour work and if the material doesnt lend itself to a pictorial solution the text is added to colour panels

Oddly there are a few actual photos used which seemed to break the design format of the book
