It soaks in fairly quickly (1hour ish) and does not leave a greasy residue when dried and buffed.
I keep an old rag in a ziploc bag under the sink and it's my permanent conditioner rag.

I easily wipe any excess oils but because the wood needed it so badly most soaks in over the evening hours before morning
