Pros & Cons
Pros
The fumes are very strong but didn't seem to linger for very long. My cabinets are 40 years old! They look fabulous…. I am in the process of continuing throughout my house as i have oak cabinets in all bathrooms, but the work so far is looking absolut... Read More
Howard's restor-a-finish is easy to use and good quality. Restores color and sheen. It also leaves a nice smooth finish and a bit of a shine. All the woodwork in my recently purchased home is honey oak.
My ocd is calmed for $10. I just love products that not only don't disappoint me, not only do what they claim, but actually are much better than i expected.
Cons

Appears to be a lacquer finish as a drop of lacquer thinner dissolves readily into the finish. The directions give you the impression that you wipe on then wipe off. Do not follow the instructions on the label to use steel wool on your wood.
