Pros

Great resolution and excellent color rendition. I love how the monitor rotates 90 degrees for easy viewing whether i am working on a document or browsing the web.

Cons

The font is very pixelated, very hard on your eyes. It looks like the bottom half of screen is going gray plaid. I find it very distracting anytime i work with a dark picture or screen.

Replacement monitor has the same issue and is even more erratic with the on screen mouse pointer. Power is on, cables securely connected, and the screen would just stay black for a minute or so while i try to log into the computer. Tested problem on m... Read More

Spent 45 minutes on the phone with hp trouble shooting. Went through the reset steps 3-4 times and got it back online. Next day (sunday) tried again intending to call tech support.

Quality

It's overall quality is great, my only critique is that the speakers cut in and out a bit on the second one.

I only gave 4 stars because of other issues not related to the quality of the monitor.

And frankly, the quality was either practically the same on both or even better on this 24 1080p monitor.

The image quality is good for what i need but i could see a gamer wanting higher resolution and/or a higher quality monitor.

Price

Liked it so much that i decided to buy another but the price had gone up.

For its price, it’s a nice, name-brand monitor for day-to-day use.

:) good picture as expected, nice profile, doesn’t take up much square footage on my desk & works like a champ.

I did not like how texts appeared on my 27 1440p monitors.

If you prefer pretty over performance, but high-end monitors.
