Pros

The airprint feature is also a nice feature. All you have to do is touch the screen to wake the printer.

The menus are easy to navigate and the touch screen is responsive. The attention to detail is exceptional. Trays open easily and intuitively.

This is one of those reviews that is tricky to write because the printer itself is excellent. Great color laser printer with integrated flatbed and bulk feed scanner. Good printer, easy to install.

Removing and replacing the toner is dead simple; there’s a slide-out tray that holds all 4 cartridges. Each cartridge includes both toner and a drum. The only thing i don't like is the price of hp toner.

Cons

I hope this is a dud and not indicative of the quality of hp. The toner costs well over $200 per color. Don't waste your money on this pos.

The printer is unable to connect to a laptop. It is not possible to save toner using an eco mode. The printer does not support non-hp cartridges.

All the scans from the auto feeder were crooked. Kept getting a attention required error. Support is essentially useless. It has issue staying online and scanning with multiple users.

The amazon is not clear that the 479fdn does not have wireless connectivity. It must be connected to a router via a lan cable. There are certainly security holes in the firmware that will be found later.
