I previously owned toshibas extremely light ultrabook but the battery died after one year and it was painfully clear to me what sealed in battery means when you have to send it for service to get it replaced

I have to admit somewhat sheepishly that i actually struggled to open it the first day because i thought it was supposed to be difficult based on the reviews and then i figured out that i had it turned out backwards

The only thing that is odd about it is the logo placement makes it appear that it should open the other way and the shape makes it rather ambiguous

I also have not had issues with bumping against the volume control wheel unless youre gripping the laptop rather awkwardly this shouldnt be an issue

This size and weight of this laptop do not make it a true ultrabook

The asus models had way too many complaints about the keyboard for me to make a 1000 gamble if it would bother me or not
