I was a little hesitant to buy another pda but i have been very happy with the hp ipaq.
All in all i'm very pleased with the unit.
(don't get me wrong, the quality of the display isn't horrible.
I am not disappointed with the ipaq 111.

On the whole it is a sturdy machine and worth its price.

However, in placing my order i was not careful to check out the shipping costs from the outside amazon sellers.
35 to ship by regular mail (6 days)while the overnight shipping of the ipaq from amazon was only a little over $11.
Packaging/appearance
He's bday was around the corner so what better than to purchase this for him.
Competitiveness
This is a much better machine than its predecessor in many ways.
I would tell anyone though that depending on what you use it for your may want to get a differant model with more memory.
I suppose i will have to ask a computer professional.

Has handwritting recognition feature in microsoft word is an added plus all you have to do is just write it on the screen and it puts it in

This is a very nice device however once you start to load programs the 64mb actually less usable of memory shrinks pretty fast

It would be nice to move to portrait view without having to go into settings whereas an option on the today screen would simplify

The battery life is not very good seems to last only 1 12 to 2 hours even with the backlight lowered and other programs ended while using one

With ipaq having wifi and bluetooth nowadays i can go to internet from anywhere

This seems to be the underdog device in that what it lacks in popularity it makes up in functionality
