Pros

Happy hp customer for 25 years. Worked like a charm. Starting to make weird grinding noises though.

Great color and relatively economical to operate. It is crazy fast - i didn't know inkjets could be that fast. The color printing looks great too.

Cons

The first day i printed with this printer, the images come out blurry. It hates anything but the thinnest of papers and doesn't not like to print on photo paper. The printer is nothing more than a paperweight.

This device *. No connection to their robo tech. This is most disgraceful from a company like hp. Very sad and a huge disappointment.

The options on the digital screen disappear on their own. Had this same issue with coworkers on the 8620 and the 8600. Is the outlet you're using working?

Now printer has to be restarted everytime i want to print or scan something.

Oh, and please don't suggest instant ink. But, alas. No more. No good.

I caught it on sale, for $199, and noticed it still sells for considerably more than i paid 2 years ago.
