Hp is a recognizable brand, but it is important to remember the brands incompatibility with non-microsoft & hp products. Stick to wd or samsung maybe. Beware of amazon's contradictory policies.
The unit keeps disconnecting from file transfers. Once mounted it’s a matter of minutes before it disconnects and disappears from desktop. Failed after 4 folders. I have to disconnect, reconnect and open the folder and within 3 minutes, same thing hap... Read More
Tried it on another notebook and same result. Neither computer recognizes it anymore. Cannot reformat or do anything. Those who manage it can expect to be offered a repair or replacement, not a refund.
Do not buy this useless piece of scrap aluminum. Wouldn't trust these with my data. This product isn't worth the headache.

The cable it comes with is very short so i recommend using a longer one if you have it
