Of course stepping on your laptop is not covered under warranty and since these laptops were low priced around 400 i doubted i would find a screen to replace that would make it worth it without costing enough i could just go buy another laptop

As a former subcontractor for dell warranty services i sort of dreaded having to replace a laptop screen as well

It isnt a touch screen like the one i broke but in this case that didnt matter as my wife did not use her touch screen anyway and the option had been disabled

The packaged screen arrived promptly the screen was packaged as well or better than any factory screen i have received through work orders over the years

If they are all packaged the way mine was then you should have no concerns about receiving a damaged screen
