Pros & Cons
Pros
Bought this for an older, refurbished hp laptop. Not a top performer but nice upgrade for an old laptop. Machine much quieter now and glad to be rid of those old hard disc drives. Made my old dell laptop like new.
The pc has an msi motherboard with 64 gb ram and an intel core i7 7700k processor. It's very light in weight, function flawlessly, was easy to install. For the price you can't go wrong with this ssd.
Cons
It was not recognized by neither my pc or laptop. Failed less than 6 month! Too risky for $20. Do not buy.
Hp means hooy poopy. Decided to return it for a refund toward a samsung or other higher quality drive.
Highlights
Quality
Was easy to install, and works perfectly
I needed this to extend my storage on my nuc - works as advertised and is no slouch.
This drive installed easily (with a separately purchased ssd/hd drive-caddy) and is blisteringly fast comared to what it replaced.
Plugged the old one into an external case and i have a cheap non-critical external drive to play with.
Price
Great sale price on ssd drive vs sandisk.
Definitely like it for it's relatively good price, disk speed, and reliability thus far.
At the price, don't even consider a no-name ssd drive.
It is still great for the price you can’t go wrong with this ssd.
Competitiveness
No hiccups, it's a bit faster than my other ssd on my pc, and, i've been able to play modern games on it (cyberpunk 2077, etc.
