Being an egineer who likes to fix things and not very happy with the practice of design absolencence i though i would try taking my tooth brush apart and replace the dead battery

Replacing was a bit of a process and theres a trick to opening up the tooth brush

You basically have to take the whole thing apart inclyding desoldering the old batter and the mtor from the circult board
