It works, but it's a little finicky when plugged into the camera. Works very well with my fuji hs50exr. Perfect for macro photography focus stacking sessions.

When i move the camera around sometimes it jostles just slightly loose and the camera wont turn onshuts off

Its too bad so many modern cameras dont just have a dc in port on their exterior and we have to resort to these fake battery inserts
