This remote is a huge improvement over the one that came with the air conditioner.
This worked very well with the a/c unit although the instructions were a bit hard to understand.
It took me a little bit and had to play around with the remote to finally program it.

Lost the original remote control unit after moving house

Now my haier ac unit is back in normal operation whereas without the remote it is unusable

The temp control button had broken and any attempt to lower the temp just moved it up

I had to keep resetting it hold temp down button in while you turn the unit on
