Works great, hat to file out a very small amount of metal to ensure a smooth fit.
It works well and was easy to install (assuming you have the skills to work on electric appliances).
I bought this rotary switch because i was cleaning my stanley fan and the rotary switch stopped working.
The body is plastic and doesn't appear very rugged.

Great price just not the right part
This being said, it's a good value for the money, and it does the job.

Would have been five stars overall except for shipping a defective piece.

On the back of this switch are very small embossed markings for the hot and speeds 1 2 and 3

Simply you need to connect the neutral white wires with a wire nut

The remaining wires go into the switch ports as you identified them prior to removing the old switch
