Excellent product works perfectly on my hair, i have fine hair so use on about 330° works great no burn and no snagging.

Used 390f, iron heated up very nicely, was super easy to use and it really did glide across the hair.

It’s a great value for a great price.

This is a very nice iron for the price.

Not even my $200 sedu had that.

99 for mine a couple of years ago.

Packaging/appearance

I put my $70 chi pro back in its box and will be sticking with the hsi.

Also my box was missing the free argon oil sample, i let the company know and they are sending me a replacement.

The straightener comes with a nice heat bag, but it looks like you probably can't set the hot iron on top of it.

Competitiveness

I actually like this better than the chi.

I purchased a different hsi straightener in 2012 and had a poor experience.

I would say this product directly competes with high end straighteners at a much lower price.
