My only issue is that the suction cups seem like they do not like to stick to metal i usually sit my straightener on top of a metal framed drawer unit beside my vanity

No matter what i tried the stand would not stick to the top of that unit i had and without the suction cups engaged at the bottom the hsi stand is too side heavy to stay upright

Would have given five stars but as some others have noted the suction cups on bottom does not work well

For anyone who says it doesnt stay in place just add a drop of water to each suction cup before pressing onto counter and it wont raise back up
