They applied the same veneer type finish to real plywood, not the cheap partical board that i've been acustom to.

I have the surge suppressor which i have the laptop and monitors plugged in to hanging on one of the side handles because the height of the desk makes it impossible to have the monitors plugged into the wall if moving up it is too far for the cable

As with most standing desks this is not meant to be placed in the middle of an area but i stead near a wall
