I would also make sure your monitors basic stand it came with is fully removable i have two samsung 24 and the back mount doesnt come offsee picture this is due to samsungs poor design

The two monitors i have very close to 17 pounds and this holds them just fine however it takes awhile to get them lined up the exact same height since due to the nature of this monitor setup they cant be on the bar at the same height

I realized after that 2 single tv arms would have been better suited for my application

It feels mostly solid but some parts feel like plastic notably the elbow connection of the arm
