Its a bit difficult to figure out where the monitor will wind up coming out at before you set it up but i cant think of a solution for this

I wound up with some extra holes in the wall had to lower it to get monitor to daughters eye level

Leaving the screw that goes from monitors vesa plate into the monitors extruded metal loose before putting the standoffs on seemed to help a good bit just make sure to tighten that screw back up when youre done sliding the standoffs in
