Pros

Great drone for beginner. Comes with charger and controller that takes 2 aaa batteries. This quad is a very agile flyer and can be flown out doors or indoors.

Does flips. Works like a charm and is a lot of fun. They also give you an extra set in case you do collide with a tree or ceiling.

Cons

It just zips off and hits walls. They need to dampen to reduce the wild-weasel effect. I'm suspicious of so many blowing reviews by people who are verified purchasers.

Trying to achieve stable flight is like trying to harness a drunken mad bumblebee. The controller is too small and the smallest inputs send this quadcopter all over the place. The joysticks are very sensitive to the slightest input.

Quality

This blue version is the only one i've found that comes with the propeller guards and they are a must for flying indoors.

I feel that i can fly this drone better with the x4 transmitter and it's a lot more fun.

The larger ones catch the waves very easily, while the small ones take a lot more work.

Shipping

Unit arrived in good order ahead of anticipated arrival using free shipping.

I wasn't expecting it to respond so well or so fast that i almost launched it straight into the ceiling.

Competitiveness

We didn't have guards on the other quadcopters and lost a lot more propellers without them.

If you have the hubsan x4 models it flies very similar in characteristics surprisingly.

Also when in flip mode you push forward then pull back to do 360degree flips.
