Im not sure if its only this drone that has altitude hold problems but i do know that drones without this feature are much more reliable

Also altitude hold means that wherever the drone is it tries to maintain altitude which is bad when you are about to crash or have crashed because the motors always stay on unless you have a hard enough crash for this drone to sense or if you manually turn them off which takes a like two seconds and drone flyers know that 2 seconds could mean life or death for your drone or propellers

It is nice to just be able to let go of the stick and let your drone drop before the propellers get destroyed but this drone just doesnt let you do that

Its somewhere between the tiny mosquito sized ones that are incredibly hard to control and the more full sized ones that you can only fly in your backyard or a park

Quadcopter batteries are notoriously short lived so its nice to have another one ready to go when the first runs out of gas which you can then charge
