Pros

The brightness is fantastic. To use the dimming effect it has to be on for a few minutes. The ability to dim and lighten the even light field really expands the viewer’s ability to read the subject.

The light pad is solid, not flimsy, yet lightweight and takes up very little room on my supply shelf. The larger panels get more expensive.

The illumination is perfect for her animation projects. All of my grandchildren love to draw and this light pad will be shared with them when they visit. Using the light box for watercolor projects.

Cons

The light flickers on and off or just very dimly lights up. I suspect the problem is in the area that the usb cord plugs in, because it has always been very iffy. The light box is listed with a one year warranty.

The light pad itself is like 2 sheets of plastic attached together with space in between where the light fits in between. Very flimsy, easily bendable metal connection. There is no reason to pay more for an inferior product.

As an epileptic, this product isn't safe for me to use because of the faulty equipment.

So while it's not directly coming from the manufacturer, i would think they are still responsible in how their item is shipped.

It was shipped by amazon in it's original box showing the name and picture of the item on the outside.

It arrived quickly and is just what i expected.

Packaging/appearance

It came with a usb power cord and a clip for holding large sheets in place.

I keep it in all the packaging materials and box when not in use.

I don’t have any other light pads to compare but this is definitely what it’s described as.
