Pros

I love that it's rechargeable, and that it has different brightness modes. The charge lasts for more than enough time, and the adjustable brightness makes it great for the thickest of paper.

To adjust brightness, hold a finger on the power button after first powering up the panel. There isn't a glare, and for the period of time i used it, my eyes didn’t get fatigued at all.

Huion is an excellent electronic tablet. Now i have to find youtube tutorials to find out exactly how versatile this device is.

The design is simple and sleek and looks very nice, as well. The customer service with this product so far seems good. Nicely designed and well-packaged, too.

I can bring it and my laptop with me when i head out to work on comics or sketches. Like all thin electronics, this is probably pretty fragile, but not more so than most smart phones and tablets these days.

Cons

Even on its brightest setting, this lightpad is not bright enough to see the hatch marks through to the back side of the paper. The light sometimes flickers and only works half of the time. Fool me once, shame on you.

You definitely want quality and this is quality!

I thought i would have to pay hundreds of dollars to get this quality, but it really works great for painting.

Aim for 3 to 8 second exposure time with the histogram peaking at 45%.

It turns on with the touch of a finger and no actual pressing so i feel futuristic and superior.

Price

Even though it is smaller, the price is low enough that buying one for each kid was still half of what i would pay on a table.

Shipping

I will be shipping the box back to them and they are going to fix or replace my problem.
