The trap works, but it doesn't actually fit on a 5 gallon bucket. After 9 days nothing. Ended up returning.
This product is horrible and doesn’t work. This item is so misrepresented. It is awful. Sheer junk and waste of money.
The plastic ladder came broken. It looks nothing like the pictures and it was all smashed up. I’m sure even they saw it and thought it was hokey.

Mouse trap bucket lid fits home depot and lowes buckets perfectly and the product works really well.
Easy to empty, just dump the water with the mice into my chicken coop and free protein for my birds.
If you do it right it should open with the least amount of weight on the tip of the paddle.
However, this product works incredibly well here in our barn!

You have to put a good smear on the underside of the lid as far in as possible

When you assemble it make sure that the paddle is free from any obstruction that would prevent it opening or closing

I think some people arent assembling the tunnel correctly and it is catching the paddle

I set this trap up last night for first time and at 400am i could hear it had worked great idea but have to say i broke off tabs for ramp as they wouldnt release once put together now i have to figure out where i want to release this cute little guy ty
