Ill probably get the navionics plus card to get more detail on the lakes but overall the lake maps are pretty good without the upgrade

Mega imaging might be good on lakes where theres tons of obstruction on the bottom and you wanna see where the fish are hanging out

Looked at lowrance side scan units and you gotta pay 200 extra for the side scan transducer
