Feels solidly built and easy to install. Installation is a bit tricky for a first timer like me, but was manageable. Crisp clear detail.

Cons

The mounting bracket is much more bulky and caused problems trying to mount it. Manual that came with it has very limited information on how to operate the fish finder. On-line manual is some what limited in setting it up.

Definitely recommend this model with the xi 9 1521 transducer for ice fishing.

Works as designed no issues and very accurate gps.

If you go on huminbird's website, a replacement dual band sonar is $10 less than the sonar with the chirp capabilities.

Di with the helix 5 because the piranha was not compatible with my ulterra transducer.

I switched from the lowrance to the humminbird.
