Only concerning thing right now is the heat - its idling around 45 - 50 c which is warmer than i like. Using the optional 80mm fan lowered the cpu temperatures by more than 10 c, from 54 to 43.

It seems to have some onboard speaker/piezo that plays some chimes while booting up. Would of liked to try booting from the tf slot. Only complaint is that the box reboots on it's own after a power down.

Cons

The patriot viper steel is definitely dual ranked and incompatible. There is a jumper inside that locks the unit on 100% of the time and disables the power button. Skill, patriot, and corsair was not clearly labeled.

I transferred a pfsense backup and everything seems to be running fine.

I would highly recommend this pc for anyone looking to build a pfsense firewall that is capable of 2.

Like others have reported, after setup the unit that arrived would not post or boot with both sodimm slots populated.

I purchased a usb powered noctua 120mm fan and that pretty much fixed the heating issue.
