Pros

Lowering our ceiling fans by another 12 has improved air circulation significantly. These are brand new, plastic wrapped rods that work just as described for any ceiling fan. Used on 21 degree sloped ceiling to lower fan for clearance.

Cons

Fan is more of an oiled antique bronze. Threads at ends push the metal making a bulge that the other pieces can not slide over.

This thing is sturdy and black just as i needed it.

Directions easy to follow for swapping oem rod.

The fans were too close to the ceiling and the air flow was near nothing, not to mention that the fan blades were about eight ft.

Had to paint it to match application but is well made.

I did see one at the store 3 times the price i paid so a lil jiggle is fine.

This is a decent, stylish, and reliable fan - especially for the price.
