Pros

Overall this product is recommended. It looks good, it does what its supposed to, and its made by a company that has a pretty good reputation for quality products.

Wall mount controller works great together with the transmitter that is wired into the fan/light combo. Works properly and controls the fan more easily than yanking on the cord. Only cons is the dimming - it only dims in one way.

The original wall switch was purchased at lowe's for $49. Installation instructions may also be downloaded from the hunter website. I just hope the battery doesn't have to be changed often.


Cons

The receiver is too big for the hampton bays bracket and canopy. The quality of hunter fans is poor and the switches work poorly. Do yourself a favor and, if you can, purchase the hampton bay.

Uses an odd sized battery too.

This shuts the fan/light off. All bulbs blow out and it should not blow out the unit.

I just noticed that other reviewers had trouble with this product.

I'll stick with the pull cords and a wall on/off switch for now.
