This is by far the quietest ceiling fan i have ever had. Generates a good amount of air movement just on the slowest speed. On medium, it's whisper quiet and it's just a gentle breeze over you.

Brightness of the light seems sufficient for me.

The brushed nickel looks great with the stainless steel appliances. The fan blades comes with one side brown and the other side grey. I have the black stainless and it matches with my lg black stainless appliances.

The light flickers when it's turned on. When it “shifts to a lower speed” unprompted,. The light dims then brightens again.

There is just no room for all the wires and the receiver to fit in there without much difficulty. Called electrician back out to find out the remote control receiver is broke. Company has no sense and sells this with a very ugly, dark colored remote.

Next fan i'm trying is the hunter hardaway which has much higher cfm than the sentinel. The metal blade arm is loose so it rubs against the metal top housing cover. The downrod is 2 inches only.

This fan is good for nothing but scrap! Such a waste of my time and effort. Should have listened to the reviewer. Now wasted money for two lemons.
