Item looks exactly as pictured. It’s not a “ceiling hugger” by definition but is plenty close enough to be considered one. The remote is also a nice size and has * marked with the fan speed you want and a light button.

Both of our fans are wonderfully quiet and the remote control is a godsend. The customer service department is also outstanding. It is so quiet and stylish.

The fan has the glitch more often when rotating in the winter direction on mine. When the light is turned on, every few minutes the light flickers off and then turns back on, quite loudly.

This is the first hunter fan we've been disappointed in, and we've installed many. Difficult to fit the receiver in this one, very easy on the other. The storage space is far better for easy placement of the reciever.

The lighting is horrendous. Our electrician tells us it’s not the bulbs. Im not sure if the electrician installing it had something to do with it or if the light cover thingy is to thick.
